This programme is a kind of opéra en miniature (the texts of the vocal pieces relate the story in the manner of a libretto, with the instrumental pieces being part of the dramaturgy); if possible, it is effective to incorporate and use the space of the concert hall as well as the stage for the concert by having the musicians play at various places in the concert hall.
